In this lesson, you’ll explore how Surrealists used art to break boundaries and create your own surreal composition that challenges expectations.

Many LGBTQ+ artists found in Surrealism a way to challenge gender roles, express desire, and explore identity beyond societal norms. Such artists include Leonor Fini, Toyen, and Claude Cahun, who used Surrealist techniques to reimagine the body, identity, and fantasy.

Ticket includes art history lesson and all art materials. Coveralls/ smocks will be provided to protect your clothing.
