Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian painter and art theorist, generally credited as the pioneer of abstract art. Kandinsky’s art was stimulated through synesthesia, a phenomenon that enabled him to see colors when he heard music. Learn about Kandinsky’s music-inspired abstract works, listen to music and create your own sound-inspired painting. Each guest will contribute a song to the playlist!
