In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn about Mark Rothko’s life and explore his signature techniques of layering color fields and creating luminous compositions that speak to the soul. Explore your emotions and use color as your primary language to design an artwork that conveys mood and depth. Work with translucent layers of paint, subtle gradients, and soft edges to create harmonious and emotive compositions in your own Rothko-inspired painting.
