Inspired by the history of early holiday decorations, learn how cotton batting and felt were used to craft festive ornaments in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, often shaped like fruits, vegetables, and other symbols of abundance rooted in winter traditions.

In this beginner-friendly needle felting workshop, you'll design a personalized ornament featuring a favorite winter motif and learn the essential techniques of sculpting wool with specialized felting needles.

No experience needed, all materials are provided, and protective equipment will be available while working with felting needles. Taught by PhDs, subject matter experts, and professional artists.
