“That is beautiful which is produced by the inner need, which springs from the soul.” - Wassily Kandinsky

Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian painter and art theorist, generally credited as the pioneer of abstract art. Kandinsky’s art was stimulated through synesthesia, a phenomenon that enabled him to see colors when he heard music. Learn about Kandinsky’s music-inspired abstract works, listen to music and create your own sound-inspired painting.

Ticket includes art history lesson and all art materials plus coveralls, smock, or an apron to wear while making art.
