Renoir was known for his devotion to beauty, as expressed through his impressionist landscape and figure paintings. His approach to real life scenes incorporated light, color, and atmosphere at the height of their dreamlike qualities.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to capture the delicate movements and visceral beauty of real life scenes through Renoir’s Impressionistic techniques. You’ll experiment with soft brushstrokes, blending colors, and capturing the shimmering light and soft tones that thread through Renoir’s works.
Ticket includes lesson and all art materials (including a 9x12 inch canvas). Coveralls/ smocks will be provided to protect your clothing.
